Tremendous Growth and Diversity
- Student Applications and Selection: In 2023, we received over 10,000 applications and selected 193 new students; 38.7% of applications came from women, surpassing the global average for gender diversity in tech. This achievement put us in the top 5 in women's participation in the student body of the 42 Network.
Community Building: Our campus has grown into a diverse hub with over 30 nationalities represented, creating a rich environment for peer-to-peer learning and cultural exchange.
Innovative Educational Approaches
- Pedagogy and Curriculum Development: We have continued to refine our world-class pedagogy, focusing on peer-to-peer learning, soft skills, and practical coding experience through our intensive Piscine bootcamps.
- Empowerment Initiatives: A significant highlight was our first-ever Discovery Piscine exclusively for women, aiming to boost female representation in IT.
Strong Partnerships and Career Opportunities
- Industry Collaborations: We organized 29 events with industry partners, including keynote speeches and interactive sessions, which provided students with invaluable insights and networking opportunities.
Internship and Mentorship Programs: Our new platform offered 34 active internship positions in 2023, and our mentorship program has established 28 mentor-mentee pairs to support personalized growth and career development.
Engagement with the Public Sector
- Participation in National Events: 42 Prague participated in the Czech Digital Week, collaborating with government bodies to discuss and shape the future of digitalization and IT education in the Czech Republic.
